Syracuse Community Health
40+ Years of Accessible Equitable Care
Syracuse Community Health was founded in 1978 with a mission to provide high-quality healthcare to the residents of Onondaga County, especially those who are uninsured, disadvantaged or who face other obstacles to care. Since 1978, we’ve served well more than 100,000 of our neighbors across Syracuse and Onondaga County.
We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 13 clinical locations across Syracuse and Onondaga County. As an FQHC, we provide healthcare services to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Our Sliding Fee Program allows patients to pay an amount they can afford, based on family income and size.
Providing Accessible, Cost-Effective Quality Healthcare for All
To provide quality healthcare services to all individuals with a commitment to those who might otherwise be excluded from the healthcare system, while remaining cost-effective, efficient and competitive.
Social Equity
Here at Syracuse Community Health, social justice is an important part of our mission. For us, social justice means building up our community in a way that empowers all people, including the disadvantaged and marginalized, to reach their full potential.
Health Equity
Health equity is at the heart of what we do. We believe that health equity is achieved when every person has the opportunity to reach their full health potential, and nobody is left out.
